I like the pose and sharpness and might try to get more details in the iris and tone down the highlights.

Kiran, great pose but wish I could see the feet. Beautiful detail. Would that be peregrinus calidus?

Love the sweet light, look-back pose, and excellent sharpness. Highlights look fine on my monitor, but I would try to bring out a bit of detail in the eye if possible. Now we've got to get you photographing these beauties in flight!!!

Thank you all for the kind words of encouragement, Sure Axel bhai will check the highlights, it looked ok, but will check again.

Yes Roy it is the peregrinus calidus they visit during the winter.

Doug Bhai, your PF flight shots are a inspiration indeed and I am trying my best to make images of raptors in flight, These guys are pretty difficult to spot here, that apart I dont know if this is a case of a bad carpenter blaming his tools, but I find i very difficult to get clean flight shots with my 40D. kindly advice.

Your grasslands are very productive raptor wise - like the head turn and eye contact.

    cheers
