    Default Foot path

Just after the morning showers, this well trodden footpath captured my attention. Taken at Savanadurga, about 75km from Bangalore. Appreciate your views and comments.

    EXIF: D700, 24-70mm @ 70mm, 1/80s, f/6.3, ISO 800, hand held, early morning
    PP: selective curves, levels

Path is very well framed by the tree on left and the bench in the foreground. It's inviting and makes you want to follow it. I like the ray of light at the end of the path.

Very nice composition Ramesh as the path leads you nicely though your image. Maybe dodge the bench a little to give it a different perspective.

    Hi Ramesh,
I love the path and the way you used the trees to frame the image but I am not loving the bench.....partly because it is so dark and it may be cut. I would try Dennis's suggestion and try to open it up just a touch.....that may help.....but be careful not to do too much as it will quickly overpower the scene,

Thanks, Fabs, Dennis and Roman. Appreciate your views. Dennis/Roman, i tried selectively opening the bench a bit, but its flattened its texture. Tried different combos of the same, didn't work and finally left it at this.

    regards,
    ramesh
