I am feeling a bit better, so some friends dragged me to the races in Epping New Hampshire. At the "Star Raceway". It is a 1/4 mile asphalt oval track. We went for the ISMA Classic Super Modified's race. They are big block chevy's, go over 100 mph on the short straight away, 60 mph on the turns and have wings to increase speed and cut down on the wind drag. Saturday was a mild 43 degrees with a 15 mph wind. As much as I like cold, that was a bone chilling night. But we had fun, fried dough and a coke.
Here is a sample image of the cars on approach to #4 turn.
Grady, Nice to hear you're feeling better. What could be better for the sole than fried dough and a coke:)Sounds like you had a good time and got some interesting shots.
