    Default C.Kingfisher

On the morning I got the flight shot, the same Kingfisher landed with a proper sized fish.
Actually the fish was huge and it took a while for the Kingfisher to get a handle on it and eat it.
But soon after it landed with this fish, it turned its back on me, so except for this image and maybe 3-4 others, I came away with nothing else.

How nice of the kingfisher to hold the fish face-forward for you! I wouldn't mind a bit more room, and would tone down the lighter parts of the perch and fish. Love the wet plumage.

Nice head angles.:D The little tongue sticking up really adds to the hungry feel here. I also agree that the perch needs some toning down. Other than that a very stunning image.

Cool capture, I like the sharpness, eye contact, BG and the fish add to it. Another vote for toning down the highlights and maybe a bit wider crop.

Its always great to see these guys with their catch in their beaks. I like the colours, and good to see the eye of the fish too. I like the linchen on the perch.

This is so beautiful - colours, background, perch, sharpness, catch, wet feathers. You should be happy if this is all you came away with.

I am never going to get tired of seeing you post this species. Agree on slighty more room all around and toning down the perch just a tad. After that, this is probably my favorite thus far.

Very nice image Dany. Great details and the fish is a big plus. Ditto about toning down the lightest parts.
