    What?! One second handheld!!!
    Yes with Tamron's new     SP AF17-50mm/2.8 XR VC Di II LD Aspherical (IF)

    I stopped down to F22 to get the star burst affect in the lights.
    The resulting shutter speed was one second.


    Sorry I could not get the bold font to de-bold:o.

    This is truly amazing. In my journalism days, I yearned for the ability to take hand-held photos at settings like these. The performance of the lens is as outstanding as the performance of the photographer.
