Sandy Hook last week. NJ Audubon reported 16 warbler species, down from 22 the week before. I only got 7, and most were Yellow-rumps. Still, this lass picked a nice perch for just a moment. I could have used a smaller aperture. About 75% of original height, cropped to vertical.
I like the BG colors and sharpness around the eye in this one. I wish for a lower angle, more eye contact and might put the bird a tad further to the left in the frame.
Bill, I was there this morning and I saw alot of Warblers. I was busy w/ the shore birds and had to get back to work-but I did scope out a nice spot to go back to on the next nice day-I hope soon! I agree w/ your thoughts to stop down. Nice pose and gorgeous BG! I like the perch also. Not crazy about the mixed light. Very nicely done!
