Default Eagle (Last day of 2008)

I took this shot on New Years eve day 2008 in Iowa at lock & dam 14. It was a great trip to end the year
and the birds were flying right by us. I would just like to say that there is some really nice images here BPN.
Here is my humble offering of what I think is such a beautiful flying creature.

Welcome to BPN, Tim! Very nice first post. I like the sharpness, light and BG and would give it more room to fly into at the right.

Welcome to BPN Tim. Great flight angle, and sharp where it counts. He has something wrapped in his claws, and I like the trailing droplets. I agree more space on the right is needed. Look forward to more of your work.

    Tim:

Welcome to BPN. Excellent image as a first post. Techs have been covered. Ditto on the more room to the right. I am from Iowa originally, and will have to try and stop at #14 on a trip back.

Look forward to more quality images like this one.

I would like to say thank you to all that viewed and commented on my eagle image.
I wish there would have been a little more time to frame the bird better but there was
not time. I am happy with it and it hangs as a 16x24 on my TV room wall.
Again thanks for all the kind words and the helpful ideas:)
