Albuquerque, New Mexico. The sun was shining through the bush giving it the white glow which looked more so as I tried to get more detail of the sparrow.

I love this image, the pose, the detail and the sharpness and teh background. The white leaves look like they have frost.

I may see some things that are usually mentioned, but since they are not bothering I won't.

Gary--I love a shot of a common species that most overlook so I like this. The plant looks almost as if it were made of ice. The biggest thing I would address if it were mine would be to loose the green or make it less.

I feel like the bird needs to stand out from the BG a bit more. The breast of the bird is just a bit too similar to the BG I think. Having said that I do like the comp. and the common subject in a new light.
