    This image was taken just before the bull crossed the river. The evening light was beautiful and the elk did not seem to be at all bothered by the many photographer

    Im amazed at the shapes and size of the antlers that these guys have. Comp works well Judy, and thanks for sharing.

    Awesome rack on this Judy. Looks like a rewarding trip. Ditto Harshad, but minor and a tad sharpening on the head may help. Nicely done.

    Wonderful composition, I am intrigued by the size of the eye it looks rather large is this normal?

    Good morning Ken,

    Thanks for your comments and to answer you question about the eye. That is the size it is. The eyes of the elk are very large unlike the bison for their size. The eye was not touched in this capture and appears as it was.
