    wow! that's a beauty, denise. the light is fantastic. i'm looking at it on a laptop, but was wondering if it would look a little better if you could lower the contrast on the bird only? either way, this is awesome!!!!!

    Denise:
    Nice color palette, the blue gives a bit of compliment to the predominantly orange/brown feel.

    Pose and ripples give a sense of motion.

    Techs fine for me.

    Beautiful bird, nice HA and great motion pose, excellent BG. Exp, sharpness very good.

    I like the light and sharpness in this, and the yellowlegs stands out nicely against the BG. Well captured Denise.

    Beautiful sharpness and BG Denise! The Lesser Yellowlegs has a "dainty" look, IMO.

    One couldn't ask for a more complimentary background for this bird. Good depth of field and his HA and sharpness are spot on. The only very mildly distracting element (to me) is the subtle darkish semi circle behind his tail which is a easy fix.
