Assignment: Textures and Colors – “Lady Victoria”

This is Lady Victoria who was so gracious to pose for me this afternoon at Miami’s Metro Zoo. Lady Victoria’s image was painted with a Nikon D300s, using a Nikkor 300mm f/4D IF-ED lens, with a Nikkor 1.7 T/C.

Love the texture on the beak, the color transition from pink to yellow is nice too. Good big round eye and feather details. The background look a bit dizzy for me.
