This image was taken on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was a quaint road off the main drag that offered a look of the real Hawaii. While the days are always beautiful in Hawaii, it isn't always sunny, as noted here on the road near the Volcano area.

Modified with Dry Brush and Dark Stroke filters, along with Hue/Saturation adjustment.

    Enjoy!

Mark, Very pleasing composition leading the eye down the road and it does look quite peaceful. I did notice a few repeating patterns here and there.

Mark, Very nice winding road and the glimpses of pink on the road are special. I do see some repeats as well

Thanks for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

There are more than you probably see. I removed, cloned, all the MUTCD and HDOT improvements, as well as the street light, pole and wires. It still was very peaceful, even with the signage and guard rails. I just didn't like the effect for this image. ;)

Attached is the original, unretouched, for your info.

I have modified some of the more obvious ones. I thought I had the light area covered, but ...

    Thanks again.

Beautiful image, Mark. Always love those curved roads! Your pp and the effects makes this a pleasing one.

Good leading line and even lighting.I can see a noticeable cloning repetition on the lower left.

Very pretty Mark. I like the strong composition and the saturated greens and reds. Good one!
