Haven't had a chance to take a landscape picture in a while (no wide lens right now) so I dug this one out from last year about this time. I was driving east in western Oklahoma where you can find the Glass Mountains. Looks very different than what one might expect to see in this part of the world. Anyway, had to stop and take a few pics. C and C welcome

    Hey Mike,
While I'm not ususally the biggest fan of roads......this was very well composed! I like the placement of the sun, the colors. and the layering of the mountains. Even the road stripe adds to the overall composition and the color on the road is just the final nice touch. Nicely done!

    Mike,

I agree with Roman on the composition but would prefer, for my tastes, that the maximum DOF was used here to have sharp focus from FG to BG.

BTW, I have been here and know what you are talking about regarding OK.

More DOF would have been nice. Don't think I had a tripod so I was limited to handheld with pretty low light.

Glad you've been out here -- not what I expected my first trip through after moving here.
