Perhaps a little tight in the frame, but I like the image. Nice diffused light gave you a good even exposure on this guy. I even like the high-ish angle as you've depicted the habitat nicely this way. Looks like it was either starting or finishing a wing stretch? Interesting that this guy has a longer lower mandible...

Looks good, maybe higher ISO and open up more = higher shutter to grab more detail. On balance, I like the shot and a fantastic looking subject, maybe too tight in ULHC- well done. Love the habitat and background.

Excellent exposure bringing out the colours nicely, and showing good detail too. Comp wise, a little tight John.

Cool pose. I like the details outstretched look. One more vote for a little tight in the frame. Still a nice capture.

Thanks for the comments everyone... and I wished for a little more room in the frame too. It was interesting to watch this Ibis and it's friend remain oblivious to me situated so near them as they continued to comb the water and feed... always fun when the frame fills using my 400mm... ;-)

Nice stretch pose. I also like the way you handled the dark bird against the bright BG.
