This Egret family was one of about 800 in a colony nesting adjacent to rice fields, NSW, Australia. The young chick appears to be back-chatting to its parent :)

I like the pleasing image and good bg for a nest area Good behavior on all the birds The interaction between the parent and youngster is great No tellling what the little guy is saying .....or what the parent is thinking !!!!
