    Did some test shots today in cloudy weather after receiving my cam back from repairs.

    I like almost everything here, with the exception being the HA which could be a bit better. Excellent exposure and sharpness, and good wing position. I also like the inclusion of habitat at bottom.

    Love the pose, light and OOF trees in the BG. Nice comp, detail, colors and exposure. A very little better HA would've been nice but it is still great to me as it is :) Congratulations!

    awesome light!! agree about the HA, but not much of issue for me either. issues seem to be ironed out on my end!!

    Love the light and the sharpness. I do think that the head pointing away is unfortunate. But I think the habitat at the bottom is great - especially the legs just clearing it and outline of the yellow-green blob in the middle kind of mirroring the outline of the heron...

    Hi Chris, I like the flying posture, with good underwing detail. Exposure spot on, and stands out nicely from the BG. Hope the cam is now 100%

    The exposure here is spot on Chris. What was up with the camera? I would be tempted to up the sats to the bill and eye.
