A good number of Merlin taunting the even greater number of Flicker moving through the area. No kills made in the 3 hours I spent with them this AM. As fast as the Merlin are , one would think they would do better than they do. Light was overcast and kind of flat. But this one decided to sit and pose , so why not capture it?

Nice look-back pose and eye contact Joe. On my monitor the image is a bit flat and seems to need a contrast boost. Also, there's a hint of steel-eye from the flash, which you could touch-up in Ps.

Ditto John. The image looks quite flat here - nothing that a contrast boost or Levels adjustment couldn't fix. Nice of it to pose and give you a head turn!
