It seems we both like photographing macaques. I like the quality of the light and the muted colours of this one, it looks like it was shot early in the morning. Very nice attitudes, especially the baby: too cute.

Didn't notice the gaussian blur on the BG, well done!
If mine I would have cropped some empty space from the top, purely a matter of personal taste...

    Great shot!

A loving pair and a wonderful pose. The soft light fits the mood perfectly. I would lose the single blade of grass behind the baby on our right and tone down the whitish spot at the bend in the larger blade of grass on our left. Both of those are distracting to some degree. All in all, and excellent, emotionally moving image.

The eyes on both are truly captivating. I like how the light makes their hair appear to be so soft. You should be proud to have this as yours.

Repost is a improvement but I wish the foreground was uniformly green across or at least did not include the rock (?) left side below the females leg.

Bhai. The repost is a huge improvement as that grass on our right was really dragging the eye.

Thanks for your efforts David and for the repost. In this case, I do prefer the softer look in Harshad's original posts. (Note; yours does not at all look over-sharpened.)

    Hi Harshad,
Its a very good picture especially the emotion on the face. If it was my picture I would have definitely tried for B&W
reason - In this case the BG is not that great and since its more associated with emotion it will have more effect with B&W and ofcourse the original soft look :-).

Harshad, love the tender moment, and excellent detail captured. Soft light and colours, and Dave's repost with the additional sharpening looks good.

Very nice image Harshad. The overall soft look of the image matches well with the quiet moment you captured. I like the soft colors and the way they are looking at something else, not you.

Super image! Wonderful moment captured and I too prefer the softer look.
Would it hold up in print?
