Love the raised foot, the pose, and the blowing vegetation. I would lose the flash eye highlight.

It took me a few minutes to think about this one, but I like it. Original composition and species - well done. Please include exposure info.

Neat pose and windswept perch. I see what you mean about the "Superman" pose. To my eye there seems to be a bit of subject motion blur on the bird's face...but the image is fluid enough to keep me looking :-)

I like the movement and windswept feel of the image. The tonings in the background work well with this image. Agree about the flash highlight. Really like this image though.

    Default Flash Highlight

    Hello,

Thank you all for your comments.

And Arthur, about the flash highlight in the eye, I didn't even notice it! Do you think this one looks better?

    (f/5.6, 1/800, ISO200)

    Thanks,
    Pedro

Yes Pedro, Better. And I still love those blowing things. For some interesting comments on multiple eye highlights, click here: http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...d=1#post357357 and scroll down to Pane #11.
