Default New Canon Mark iv Video

Stumbled across this. May have already been posted here somewhere else. Not sure how much is fact and what's fantasy.

My wife made me a silly bet that if I got my Fellowship with the American Society of Photographers on my first try she would buy me a new camera.

Silly girl...! Now she owes me a camera...!

Thanks Chas...this was quite a project to say the least. Spent some 10 months alone actively working on the thesis.

I got interested in avian photography about four years ago when my wife surprised me with one of Artie's IPT's for my birthday. Totally revitalized me as a photographer. At that time I was just about ready to get out of photography. Was totally burned out from running a portrait studio.

Most of my friends have always thought I was a little nuts with this new found interest. Never could understand someone willing to trek to Alaska in the middle of winter to photograph bald eagles.

Who would have ever thought it would lead to something like this.

Did my thesis as well as my portfolio all on my avian photography. Was a little nervous about that since that had not been done before. I guess the judges liked what they read and saw.
