    Default White Morph Reddish Egret

Seeing George's and Maxis' images of a Reddish Egret at Ft. Desoto made me dig through some older files. This image was made at Ft. Desoto, North Beach. I was out at Desoto almost every weekend for 3 months last year. I could rely on this bird. I haven't seen a White Morph Reddish at Desoto in close to one (1) year.

    Hi Blake!

Wow! This looks like an amazing painting to me ... the curves and arches are wonderful, and goes well with the light pastel blues.

Wow Blake, I just love the stance you have caught this egret in - the arched wings forming a canopy over head adds so much impact to the composition. This high-key image is just stunning!!

Silky smooth. Very nice. I like how the closer wing is higher (maybe just from your angle). Great photo!

Hey, Mike! Just a hazy morning with some thin cloud cover. I was happy to get some soft light that morning.

Love the exposure control, wings and low angle. Glad we inspired you to post this image. Excellent work!
