    Chris:

I like this one, great wing spread, feet out, excellent eye contact for landing pose, drops of water on body. Sharp.

Exposure good. I did try to bring up the blacks under the wings. I normally am not a fan of 'fill light' in ACR, but just a touch brought up the underside of the wings without bringing out noise issues, and certainly added more visible detail to those area.

I might consider a modest CCW rotation, not because of the bird, but the ripples in the background. Its a trade off of the dynamic benefits of the bird being a bit diagonal, vs. the distraction of the ripples appearing to tilt.

My be worth a quick look.

    Cheers

    Randy

Chris, nice full wing spread and composition. I did a quick CCW rotation and crop and found that I liked the original, with the bird in diagonal (as pointed out by Randy) better.

Excellent landing posture Chris, with the full wingspread. Good exposure on the whites, and I agree, a CCW will work to line the ripples up.

Super EG shot Chris. Great light and tack sharp. Good IQ and details in the whites.

Great action. Like the details in the wings and you captured it right before it landed.

Great shot Chris, great timing, tack sharp, as Randy said, I wish there was a little more details in the dark area of the wings.
    Great composition!
