A wild guess would be that the bees were communicating. Liked the complimentary colors of the lily.

Those bees totally take this image over the top! Love the way they are looking at each other - it really pulls the viewer in and you really made the most of their being in the image.
Only thought I had (and it's pretty minor) would be to darken the one part of the petal in the ULC that is lighter than the rest - that does grab my eye at first. Everything else is really wonderful. You did a great job on keeping those yellows in check, Bill!
You nailed this one, William! The colors, sharpness, DOF, and the interaction between the 2 bees make this one special.
Hi Bill, You did a very nice job on this but I agree about the small bright area on the upper left. Nice work!!
Bill, Excellent sharpness and colors! Very nice image design w/ the two bees. Well done.
Beautiful image William. Excellent IQ and I love the colours, sharp detail and comp. Ditto Julie on darkening the bit of petal in ULC.:)
lovely image! very strong composition and the colours are sublime...
Thanks guys for the nice comments! I appreciate all suggestions, as well. regards~Bill
Awesome! Great colors, interesting subject, excellent DOF and the "glow" from within the flower finishes it off.
Wonderfully done.
Jerry.
