    another one from the Robert Franz tour last week, we saw this moose just outside of Grand Teton park in Jackson WY

    Like the pose and the surroundings. I'd personally like to see a little more detail/contrast in the BG mountains.

    I like the framing of the moose with room between the trees, agree with Steve and would like some more detail in the fur, difficult animal to light up !!! Excellent Jamie !!!

    Hi Jamie... great composition and pose here... I agree with the comments about the exposure/detail, but not so easy with these guys. ;-)

    thanks everyone, I underexposed it and when i tried to bring out the detail it looks blotchy

    Alfred your right it was difficult to expose, I got some great exposure shots but I dont like the backgrounds on those shots

    I like the pose, and agree with the above comments regarding detail. When Im shooting darker subjects or BIF and wanting detail from the underwing, I always dial in an +EC. Its always easier to tone down than to try and bring up shadows. Cheers.
