An interesting capture that just does not work for me.... Biggest problem: the nesting material blocking the eye. Also, blocked up blacks and a subject that is flying away from you. The moon is cool. With image like this, doing a 30-pixel or so Gaussian blur on the foliage can work well.

Resubmitted here, increased detail in blacks and Gaussian treatment on branch.

Really nice shot. My only nit with it is the angle of flight but if you wanted to include that moon there was not much choice I guess. The hint of sunset colour really adds to this image and the composition is well handled.
    Thumbs up!!

Sweet light Marc, and love the warm colours. The moon adds to the image, and good to see him at work. A better angle towards you would have been first prize.

Thanks for being open and not taking my comments personally. :) :) :) I am always just trying to help.

Much better with the blacks on the repost and I can almost see a bit of the bird's eye there too.
