    This was taken last week out in the Tetons. The Aspens were in fool color and there were lots of lovely photo opportunities.

    Nikon D3 Nikon 14-24mm
    ISO 400
    1/640, F22

    Very nice with the sunburst. I agree it needs some lightening up to bring out the trees and color in the leaves.

    Or maybe you meant "fool" color?:)

    great composition and sunburst Judy. I agree with Peter that it needs a bit more light on the trees - easily fixed...

    i love these type images!!! this is really neat, judy. i agree with the others reference a little more light and color on the trees. wished i could have been there with you guys!!!!

    I am always a sucker for these types of images Judy. I like that you kept the aspens close to a silhouette and the deep dark sky.

    Hi Judy,
    I like where you placed the sunburst in the frame and while I do se the merits of lightening......I like this version also......gives the impression of squinting at the sun. If you do lighten the leaves and trees.....that will change the look and feel......both presentations will work and be effective because of the very nice comp!
