Great blue heron, taken on the side of the road while being lost in Louisiana. I was looking for lake Martin.

Very unconventional, then again, I like unconventional :)
I like the look of concentration that only GBHs can have and the musky colors contrast with the light in the eye.
I could ask for a bit of a head turn, but I'm afraid you'd loose the light angle in the face.

I'm conflicted whether more head turn would have improved the image. Maybe you could have moved to your right. I would run some NR on the BG.
