    Default cottonmouth

came up on this little guy in the road and he refused to get out of the way without a little coaxing from me.
water moccassins are afraid of nothing! gently got him to the side of the road and proceeded on.
he was a young snake with an impressive set of dentures.you can see how they got their nickname.

Agree with Peter on the focus. It certainly does a good job of representing their namesake.

thank you so much for the replies. I also agree with the critique. would have been a better image if the cottonmouth would have remained static but he was trying his best to nail me as i was only 2 ft away. mainly wanted to show that white mouth.
How do you correct a lense that backfocuses. when looking through the viewfinder the image is tack sharp but when I download the image the focal point is soft?
Here is another chunky cottonmouth I spotted while kayaking
