Early morning

Last week I was in a beautiful natural area, de biesbosch. It was very early and cold and a lot of fog. This photo is a bit dark, i did that on purpose to show how early it is.

I really like both fog images as well as early morning shots (my favorite time of day). I like the color in the sky and the tree silhouettes. But I think I would crop the bottom up to where the significant part of the green starts. Hope to see more fog and early morning images!

Hi Thijs, I thought your foreground was a bit dark so I took the liberty to lighten it a bit with S/H and a contrast adj. I also burned the sky a wee bit to bring out more color.

wow. love having color in the foreground instead of black. and it still looks very early morning.

I sort of like the mysterious quality of the darker image -- were it mine I might try lightening to a point halfway in between, with a pano crop to take away some of the bottom. There's a very nice misty feeling to it.

I like these early morning capture myself...I would go some where in between Dave's repost and your original as far as the image goes...agree on taking just a tad from the bottom...looking forward to your next one...:cool:

AGree with Gus. Just a tad too light in the repost. And crop some of the bottom--it overpowers the photo as is

I like OP and agree with a trim off the bottom.

Did I miss the exposure techs, EXIF data?
