Always On The Lookout

This image of an elk cow was taken as she was crossing the river. They are always very much on the alert as are most wild animals. It was a real pleasure to watch these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. The lighting was awesome as the setting sun cast a warm glo on the beautiful grasses along the river.
