This is the same elk as posted before, but captured just a few minutes earlier. It is amazing how much the sky changes color. I also noticed the snow in the foreground has more of a bluish cast. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Harshad. The more I look at it, the more I like that color of sky.

Superb shot Dan. Actually, I prefer the op as the colors become an important element as does the silhouette. Nice work.

I like the OP too, more light on the snow, and overall, just love the hue of the sky. Great capture Dan.

I also prefer the OP. superb shot Dan! love that sky colour too and it contrasts nicely with the blueish snow. If I had to critique something it would be that I would have loved to see the entire elk :)

    Dan,

Nice image. My preference would be to see the feet, but we know how that typically works out ;)

    Best,

    Chas

Like this one as well. Gives a good feeling of a crisp Fall sunrise. Would be interesting to see a series of the changing light/colors side by side.

Ithink Peter's repost is better as I also did not like the blue.

I alsp prefer the first post from this series as a think the sky in the second shot looks a little unnatural, even if it was not.
