    A beautiful bird, indeed!

Nice behavior and comp with excellent detail.
Would like to see the bird more evenly lit. Better light angle would have helped.
Or maybe a bit less exposure to tone down the brighter areas and some fill flash to fill in the breast.

Love the colors and the comp. I like how the background colors compliment the bird as well.

    Subramanya,
    Welcome to BPN!

I like the composition. Toning down the highlights will help.

    Cheers,

Welcome to BPN, Subramanya! I like the captured moment and behavior, sharpness looks good, too. Another vote for toning down the highlights. Keep them coming!

wonderful image subu. to me removing border is a good choice and the right bottom bright brown patches need to be clone out as they are little distracting. sharpness is really good.

Personally I do not have a problem with the light angle, it seems you were shooting in filtered light (slightly overcast?) I would tone down the lights a bit though. Sharpness is outstanding.
