This semipalmated Plover was just killed by a wavelet and got soaked. I thought it gave it a smoothed over look.

Exposure looks great and I love the BG and strip of in focus pebbles. I wish he was looking a little more to his left though. I'm also wondering if you could lighten the eye a bit. Still a nice image.

I like the angle, light and pose. I would have stopped down more and might sharpen the tail a bit less since it brought out some noise.

Love the setting, bg, angle, sharp detail, and excellent exposure!

Wish bird was not angled away quite so much. Would like to see some separation on the bill and
also would have helped with DOF.

I like how intent the bird is on feeding. Like the low angle and the background colors. Nice light as well.

Sweet light Denise, and I like the angled pose. Lovely soft colours in the BG, and a bit more separation of the beak would have been good. Overall, a pleasing image.

This is lovely Denise. Great low angle and love the use of space. The "freshly washed" look adds.

Lovely bird and compo. I particularly like the light. A pano version would look good in this one, IMO.
