    A shot taken last night as conditions were changing because of heavy cloud cover moving into the area.

    Nikon D300s AFS 600 F4 1.4 TC

    Love the BG colors and the bird. Eye contact is numero uno IMHO. So much beautiful detail too in perfect light. A truly wonderful image!

    Nice low angle, and perfect HA. I like the brown water to blue BG transition. You may wish to lighten parts of the chest/upper belly area, and eliminate the bluish cast on parts of the plumage. The face is nicely lit.

    James, this is stunning. Love the light, low angle, fore and background. HA is spot on, detail is great. Maybe above mentioned mods would make it better, but this is a winner in my book. Congratulations.

    Super low angle, and I like the light, detail and colours. I would maybe lighten the eye a tad James.
