Killer rain and BG Fabs, detail is pretty good too, part of the beak looks over-exposed on my screen.

Great underwing detail and a wonderful sense of habitat and weather! Impressive sharpness for 1/320; the slow shutter speed did some nice things to the raindrops. I would tone down the beak and the top of the bird's head just a little.

Fabs, I agree with the others about toning down the hotspots on the bird's head, but this is really a great image to my eye. I love the raindrops and the background which really make the image for me.

    Cheers,

All elements add to this image, including rain, BG and pose of the raptor showing fantastic details. Agreed about toning down hot areas. Congrats! :)

Great flight shot! The snow really adds to it. I like the green in the background as well.

Goldens are beautiful! That bird looks like he's been to the buffet table for a long time as its crop is completely stuffed!

I like the banking angle Fabs, and good underwing detail captured. Overall very sharp for the ss, and the eagle pops so well from the BG.
