I have been without a computer for nearly two weeks, thus my absence from the site. Finally I can share some more images from my trip to the Kruger National Park. This was late afternoon, from a well known hide in the Park. I decided to capture this hanky panky from the two Thick Knee's

    Stuart:

Glad you are up and running again.

Good timing on your image. I thought the image looked a little flat, so pulled in the shadow slider to about 15, which helped give the image a bit more bite.

Might consider burning in the lilly pads to the left of the birds.

The females eye looks a bit funky, and not as sharp as his, so perhaps a bit of eye doctor work.

Look forward to more from your trip.

    Randy

Hanky panky indeed! Great shot Stu. Love the action, both birds are sharp with nice detail. Well exposed and great colours.:)

Was wondering where you were. I like the moment captured and the image looks sharp w/ maybe a bit more on the one eye as noted by Randy. Glad you are back and look forward to more from your trip to the Kruger National Park.

Great critique above and nice timing on your part. Environment isn't ideal, but can be helped if it's OK with your ethics. I am glad you had a fine time. We must have been gone at the same time.

You could do something with the lily pads indeed bro. But I like it as it's a natural history image in itself. :)

Moment well seen and captured Stu. I think Randy is spot on with the leaves and eyes.
Good to see you up and computing again.
