    Default 7D Forster's Tern: Sharp!

Had a great day yesterday! Good weather and some nice birds. The 7D has been a solid performer. I've had my best luck with BIF using AF point expansion and AI Servo tracking sensitivity set to slow. All other focus-related settings are at the factory default. The sun caught this Forster's Tern just right while it was fishing yesterday morning.

The curve of the wings is really awesome. The sharp beak and the catchlight are superb too. Good job with the composition as well. No suggestions from me.

Great capture Doug... ;-) Looks like you have the 7D performing just fine.

    Hope all is well,

Hi Doug, I like the flight angle, and nothing wrong with the IQ, sharpness from the 7D in this. The light certainly does show up the tern nicely from the angle, so overall, well captured.

I am very intrigued by your caption. Is it unusual to have a sharp image with the 7D??????
You could think Canon got the act together by now.

Nice diagonal and great soft colors.

The sharp images are so rare that I get a little over-excited when I actually get one!!!! :D;):)

Looks pretty clean and sharp from my end. That 7D sounds like a good upgrade.
