    Default Dueling Pronghorns

From mid-August, I caught these two engaged in a little pre-rut jousting. It was really just some half-hearted pushing but neat to watch anyway. 40D, 400DO + 2xTC, f11, 1/1000s, ISO 400, -1/3 EC, tripod mount, slight crop all around.

Really like the action going on here. I also like how clean the background is, makes the subjects stand out more.

    Steve,

You must stop posting beautiful images of these beautiful animals, I get more jealous every time. I shall just have to go and try to get some good Bontebok pictures!

What a great exchange, with soft light, great blurred BG and superb subjects, I really enjoy your work, Steve :)

Hi Steve, great interaction, and I like the angle at which you have captured this too. The light looks nice and soft, and love the colours of the grasses. Well captured.

Outstanding, Steve. What's not to like here? Great action, good sharpness, DOF, exposure, comp, background, etc. I'd like to see this behavior sometime. :)

NIce Steve, everything looks good and sharpness and catch light on the eyes really powers the image.

Had some whitetail sparring last night but was close to dark.

Thanks for the comments Ken. I'm glad you like seeing these guys. I don't know what a Bontebok is but it sure sounds cool and I'd like to see a pic of one.
