    Default Moosy Moose

From my recent trip to Grand Teton National Part and Yellowstone with Dale Franz. This large moose made a trailer park his base of operations and was some kind of fun. He had five cows with him and was well behaved but not the cows.

I watch some people run for cover behind the trailers getting away from them. I did not see it but was told a person in the park later that day sounded a moose call which upset Moosy Moose big time and went after him !!!

Finally have some wildlife thanks to Dale, had a total sensory overload the entire time !!!

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

Perfect pose and excellent representation of moose habitat. Hoping to see more from your trip.

Nice looking rack on that bull. Nice pose and I really like the lighting on the habitat.

I love the behaviour and the fact that a little bit of light is hitting his mouth. Really like the background and foreground as well.

Really a fun image, love the pose of the moose. There's a horizontal line near the top that I'd get rid of. Looking forward to more from your trip.

Love it and agree about cloning out that power line.

I met Dale at the Mormon barns on that Monday morning and I must have been right alongside you, there at lot #182 in the Gros Ventre Campgrounds.....it was fun to watch but he was so docile. I thought I was going to have to check for a pulse, he was so still at times.

Heck Alfred it looks like he's calling right now, a great action photo a nice composition. I have called moose in Ontario flying out of Nakina and it is awesome, unfortunately for the moose I did not have a camera like I do most of the time now.

    Al,

The pose is way cool. Super job handling the exposure and post-production. An all around winner.

    Best,

    Chas
