Default Turn those bird lenses to the heavens..

I always enjoy a good moon shot. Last week the moon was coming up in the east just as the sun was setting in the west. Result was a very colorful moon.

    Larger Version

Shot with the D90 and an old manual focus 600mm F4 Nikkor with an old Nikkor 301 2X TC for good measure
    1/250 sec.
    F8 on the lens.
    ISO 200.
Cropped and reduced in size about 60%
    Tripod and self timer.
    Vivid color in camera setting.
Shot under exposed a stop or two and exposure brought back up by just increasing contrast in PSE 5.
