    Default Cooterville, a Peaceful Place

this is one of my fav scenes from Cooterville, a place about
15 miles south of me where I have spent many many hours
photographing many many green heron and other waterfowl.

Trucking a well drilling traffic nearby have totally ruined this
    as a viable habitat.

Anyway, this was one verrrrrry foggy morning. PP was to work
levels and selective saturations and finally added a top to bottom
    peachy and soft blue gradient.
Original in post below, thanks for looking and c/c.
I have used base image here before, but totally different PP

Beautiful soft subtle gradient Dave. I like the peacefulness to the image and it's a shame that it is no longer Cooterville as you know it.

Dave, You created very nice lighting effect using the PP techniques. The fog also adds a sense of mystery to the image. I would of liked seeing a stronger center of interest...

The tree in the backround to my eye is strong enough to pull my attention away from the dominant foreground tree. IMO

    Dave,

The colors and lighting that you managed to squeak out of that blah (sorry) original are amazing and beautiful. Wow!

The beauty of digital. I am not overwhelmed by the original. But the final image is very nice.

Nice image and application Dave. I like the mist and the focus of the front trees. Nicely done. Like your showing the contrast between the original and the final image.
