I was out taking bird photos when I happened on this honeybee, he was very co-operative, flying from flower to flower.

Now that's a bee on a mission! Wow!

Excellent choice of shutter speed, Paul. Look at those wings - they are blurred but still highly visible and there is such a sense of implied motion. I love it!

Very nice comp and BG. I might suggest trying to selectively toning down the flower a bit - it feels a little bit overexposed. Rest of the image is a definite keeper, though!

Very nice capture. It may be an illusion due to the pollen but the bee looks like it could be a tad sharper.

Great shot Paul. Love the full frontal pose, colours and bg. This little guy is having a blast with all that pollen. The bee appears sharp enough on my screen.:)

Love the comp and the action captured, Paul. My one comment would be that the whites on the flower and bee, if not blown, are close to it. I would suggest trying to tone those down to strengthen this fine image.

Hey Paul, what a nice capture, like the slight blur of the wings, Agree the flower look a tad hot.
