In my previous red stag post Steve mentioned that he would like to see the winner. So this guy won the mentioned fight. This picture was taken ten days ago.

Red stag look much like our elk (wapiti). Love the posture of the stag. Like the room you left for the stag to walk into the frame. I don't care for the horizon line going through the stags head, perhaps a lower angle would have helped.

I really like the Stag's posture and the two raised hoofs. I agree about a lower angle. The detail in the Stag's fur is outstanding!

Looks like an excellent 6x6. Agree with others on background. If possible I would go lower to avoid Horizon intersecting the subject.

Very regal stag! I like the soft light and the trees in the background.

Thanks for posting this one Attila. He certainly looks to be a bull in prime shape although he doesn't seem to be all that much bigger than the previous one. I like the pose and the changing trees in the BG.

    Thank you for the comments!
The lower angle would have been better i agree with that. I have not even noticed the horizon problem before you mentioned although it is obiously. Thank you again. This is what i like on this forum i get my eyes open about faults. If i take it on the right way i can become better photographer.
Sid! It is a 6x7stag ,on the left side he has 7
Steve! He looks like the same size than the previous one but nevertheless he won.
Maybe he is stronger in mentality :D
