Welcome to BPN!! Nice first post with good foraging behaviour depicted. Good mix of colours too with the blues, greens, and orange/browns. I just wish the HA (head angle) was better, and would crop some off the bottom (to above the darker spots on the ground). Très bien réussi! Keep them coming :-)

P.S. PM sent re: user name :-)

Welcome my friend, agree with what Dan said. I'd also tone down some of the highlights on his beak. Nice first post. Keep them coming.

Welcome to BPN! Nice image. I like the colours. The background is nicely diffused. A slight head turn towards you would have been great. Look forward to more.

    Cheers,

Welcome. A loverly image of a beautiful juvenile. Love the mix of colors and agree with Axel on a crop from the bottom. Love the raised foot and the light. If you have a field guide portrait of this bird please do post it here in a pane below.

Every thing came well together in this image. Excellent details and raised foot is perfect.
