    40D, 1-400L @ 400mm, f5.6, 1/250s, ISO 800, monopod, cropped to about 20-30% of image.

    I like the attentive look of the weasel and the fact he is standing right by the kill. Really tells a story.

    Hi Steve. Looks like you made the most of your opportunity and came away with a very nice image. I see one of these about every 2 years and have zero photos.

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

    Steve, this was only my second sighting. Saw one dash across the road while I was driving just outside of Yellowstone about 4 years ago. I was just glad I didn't run that one over.
