    Default Flamingo

I'm going through my files from May; remembering the time at the Caribbean. I had some Red channel over-saturation issues with this image. I tried to use what I learned from David Thomasson at ER and put a blue photo filter over this. I don't know if I succeeded as far as real colors; I only have my laptop screen, but I don't have the extreme blown hi-lights. Thanks for the great tutorial, David.

Exposure and reds look just fine on my screen, I like the BG too, well done. I might crop a bit tighter so the eye is visible.

The colors look good on my monitor and I like the inclusion of the habitat. I agree regarding a tighter crop to make the eye more visible.

Reds look fine on my monitor. Would have liked a slightly tighter crop, but pleasing image nonetheless:-)

I don't mind the crop as is, but might crop a bit above - and I do miss seeing the eye. Perhaps a bit of work on the pupil (plus a slightly larger posting size) would make it more apparent for web display. I would also eliminate the lighter and darker spots on the beach directly below the flamingo. I get a good feeling of speed while looking at this image!

I like the pose and wonder whether a tighter crop would reveal the eye? Colors look great brother! :)
