Just a colorful autumn leaf placed on a log. Any C&C are welcome!

    Olympus SP-550 UZ
    f5.6 @ 1/30, ISO 100, -0.7 EV
Aperture priority mode, pattern metering, auto WB
Processed in PS CS2; slight crop, curves adjustment, selective color adjustment, shadow/highlight, slight saturation boost, cloned out a few distracting spots on the bark, and darkened the edges a tiny bit

I like the composition and colors. The leaf looks good against the bark texture. Not sure about the petiole...very close to the edge, maybe a little more space at top?

    Hi Chris,
I like this as presented...The color rendition is good and you have sharp details. I like the contrast and combination of textures...well done...

Thanks Gus and Ovidiu. Ovidiu, I see what you mean about the petiole. Unfortunately though, I don't have any more room at the top.

Besides the tight petiole image is beautiful. Simple and natural, like the composition - well done.
