Default Theme - Peace - For All

This image is from the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and to me signifies the real meaning of peace we all seek. It symbolizes that their sacrifices have given us the right to be free and at peace, though peace will never be for all.

Reflect on the how and why, so you can know peace.

Technically, I used Dark Strokes to add solemnest, as well as Dry Brush and Glass distortion filters for the effects.

Very nicely done Mark. I like the framing (very patriotic) and the effect.

Very nice image, Mark. Great quote. I kind of wish the flag wasn't cut off by the frame, but I like the solemn feel.

I really love the way that you saw this and were able to shoot it so creatively. I've been there, but never seen it the way you have. The treatment adds to the dramatic mood.

Thanks to all for viewing and comments, appreciate it.

The cropping was due to tourist standing below the image, but I think the showing the flag partially also shows the fagility of the vision. The flag is changed throughout the day and they used for military funerals. That is why it is not at full staff in this image. But appreciate your comment, Christopher.

Nice one Mark! I really like the graphic elements and of course, the patriotic symbolism. Good use of your filters!

Surprised you didn't comment on the lack of a signature chop block!;)
