Detail, pose and colour are very nice on this image. Well done Dave.
The angle is not too bad but I feel like the bird needs a bit more canvas to the left and underneath if thats possible.

Great species, pose, BG, light, detail and sharpness. a lower anlge would've been better IMO.
    Congratulations!

Neat bird - looks quite dove-like. Nice pose, and I like the spotted pattern on the plumage. Harsh light dealt with best you could, but I'm not crazy about the shadowed belly. I also agree a lower angle would have great, but I also see a small OOF mud mound that may have crept to high into the frame had you gone lower - I guess this was the best compromise.

Loved the bird, good eye contact, loved colours, yeah a lower angle would have put it on the top, still a lovely image, congrats...

Gorgeous details and sharpness Dave. Lower angle would have taken it up a few more notches, but understand restrictions and like very much as is.

Low angle gets my vote as well. Still a wonderful image as is. Love that eye.

What a gorgeous image mate! Love it. My only suggestion is for a little more space below the feet.
