Default Conowingo Dam in MD - too early?

I'm aware that the peak period for eagles at Conowingo is between Thanksgiving and Christmas but am wondering when the "out-of-towners" (birds not people) start to show up. I'm planning a trip to Virginia in a couple of weeks and would like to know if it makes sense to add a day at Conowingo on the way down.

    Looking forward to some responses...

There are usually a few around on most any day, Chris.
But you have to be willing to wait for them.
I was there last week, and had some scattered sightings throughout the day, with good photo results.

    Bill -

Thanks for the info! It seems that you're literally right up the road from me... Great flying shots in your BPN gallery! I'm probably going to go down this weekend since driving to Conowingo on my trip to VA takes me quite a bit out of the way.
